Here are some Questions that we at Rigganmore are frequently asked.
Please note we will try to update this page as regularly as possible but we do not make any promises as we are incrediably busy.

Some basic questions that have been asked.

So what are you about?
This has to be the most common question right now that is being asked of us. We're about fun, community, and having a place to go online that you can call home. We're basing ourselves around a pet type sim (similar to many out there) but yet dissimilar to most.

Why another pet sim?
Why not? It's something I have come to enjoy over many many years of playing online web sims. I myself got started in Neopets early in it's inception, and I've branched out to other games as I've gotten older. I think that we can truly design something that's unique and fresh that will give something for everyone to do besides just breed, show, or quest.

So what will there be for us to do as players?
Lots! once it's all coded. Breeding is going to be the focus of the site, but there will be many more facets to it that everyone can enjoy. Questing, competitions of many types, personal communities, and eventually a 3-d game for those with the subscription packages.

So do you guys need help?
Of course we do! But we're very particular as to who joins our team. There are non-disclosure agreements to be signed, contracts to be drafted and that gets into a whole legal end of things. If you're really wanting to help out on the back end, you must be over the age of 18, live in the united states and be willing to sign a non disclosure agreement and contract. Mods (when they are chosen) will be taken on a case by case basis. No age requirement have been set for them yet but will require an NDA in the future.

If I suggest a marking or mutation and it gets used, what do I get?
A very good question indeed. We plan on giving in game perks to those who give us things we can use. I also plan on running contests for artwork, items and other stuff as time progresses while we're in alpha testing. However all rights to the artwork must be filled out and signed over in legalese kinda way, so no one under the age of 18 is allowed to contribute art.

Can we have more than one account?
Right now only one account per person will be allowed during alpha testing, but we may allow another one down the road. It's not written in stone as of yet, so please don't get disappointed if this never happens.

Can I ever sell my account?
No. Your account will remain yours for as long as you play on the sim. I know other places allow you to sell accounts or trade for lower numbers, we however are discouraging this. This will ensure that you're not scammed or if you're hacked we can help find the culprit.

Can I share my account with someone?
Technically the answer is no. We are discouraging this. We won't stop you but be aware that if you share your account with someone, you're giving them your user name and password. If they run off with it and change the login information so you can no longer access it, don't expect us to get it back for you. You are responsible for owning your own password. If you are found to be sharing more than 2 more accounts with other people, we will take actions to stop it. Remember 1 account per person.

Will we be allowed to cross trade game currencies?
Yes. But only for other game currencies in games that allows it. for example Neopets does not allow for trading of their in game stuff for other game goodies. So they are one site that we will not allow currencies to be traded for.

Will we be able to sell our things for real money?
Not only is this a no, this is a "oh hell no!". No selling anything for real money, period. No pets, no items, accounts or our game things. Anyone found advertising on our site to sell another games things for real money will have us informing the other game of the items/accounts/players involved. We will cooperate with other sims to track people we find doing this.

I've seen adoptable art on other sites cropping up as tags and images, how do I get one?
Message me privately and I can work something out. The only two breeds right now are Mutts and Gryphons.

How much are accounts going to cost?

Are you going to sell "forever" accounts?
Yes, but only while in alpha testing. We may continue it into a short period after we open to the public. However in order to play on our future 3-d sim, you will need to pay an additional subscription fee.

Account Upgrades (Optional)

Forever upgrades will be available only during the early development of the sim. This will cost 50$ per account. This will give users permanent access to every upgraded feature. (that does not require an additional fee)

While we are in Alpha Testing 1.1 (accounts 10-100) Accounts will cost 30$ a piece. When the sim moves to Alpha testing 1.2, (accounts 100-300) accounts will cost 20$ a piece. This is to ensure that we don’t get too many users on the site to early, but can adequately stress test the sim early on.

Can I donate?
Not at this time. I'm personally funding everything on this project in nibbles and bites out of my own pocket, but once the bank account is set up, basic registration is finished, layout is roughly made, and pets are started then we'll be selling Alpha 1.1 accounts. Prices for these have yet to be determined. There will be a limited number of these accounts available to start. Once we get comfortable with the system, most of the bugs being worked out, we'll be moving to Alpha 1.2, where we will sell some more accounts to "stress test" the server for user load and see what else will need to be worked on.

Will you accept other game stuff for accounts?
No. We will not. We have to account for every penny on the site to help pay for server costs, artists, coders, and other misc. things we will need as we go along.

Can I have a pony?
All the ponies are being hoarded by Mo and Phoenix right now.. so no. :P
